Primate Elijah Ayodele, head of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has cautioned Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke to remain vigilant ahead of the next gubernatorial election. Through his media assistant, Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric claimed that while Adeleke is spiritually favored to secure a second term, the All Progressives Congress (APC) intends to interfere with the process.
Ayodele urged the governor to monitor the situation carefully, alleging that the opposition is actively planning to pressure the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to manipulate the results. He stressed that Adeleke must remain alert throughout the entire process to prevent his victory from being stolen.
The cleric also directed a stern warning toward the INEC leadership, specifically Prof. Joash Amupitan, advising him against colluding with opposition figures. He cautioned that if the election is compromised, the INEC chairman would face severe consequences from both the public and divine judgment. Ayodele insisted that the electoral body must conduct a transparent process to avoid becoming a scapegoat for political interests.
