President Tinubu Announces New Leadership for BCDA and NDPHC

President Bola Tinubu has named Abdulrazak Sa’ad Namdas as the new Director General of the BCDA, while Patrick Obahiagbon and Chukwuma Umeoji have been appointed to leadership roles at the NDPHC.

President Bola Tinubu has selected Abdulrazak Sa’ad Namdas to lead the Border Communities Development Agency as its Director General. Namdas takes over for Dr. Dakorinama Alabo George, who stepped down to pursue a political run in his home state. With a background in journalism and public relations, Namdas previously served as the spokesperson for the 8th House of Representatives and as Chief Press Secretary to former Governor Boni Haruna of Adamawa.

Furthermore, the president has appointed Patrick Obahiagbon to the role of Executive Director of Strategy and Commercial affairs at the Niger Delta Power Holding Company. Obahiagbon, who has legislative experience from the Edo State House of Assembly and the National Assembly, succeeds Engineer Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama, who also resigned to seek office. Additionally, Chukwuma Umeoji has been reappointed as the Executive Director of Corporate Services for the NDPHC after previously leaving to focus on his own political career. According to presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, these appointments take effect immediately.
