Former Big Brother Naija champion Phyna has initiated a N500 million lawsuit against content creator Carter Efe. This legal action follows public claims made by Efe alleging that he engaged in sexual relations with the reality star.
The dispute originated after Davrel, a streamer associated with Davido, alleged that Carter Efe had spoken disparagingly about Phyna. The situation intensified when Davrel accused Phyna of propositioning him for sexual favors and making unusual requests regarding his father. During a heated exchange captured on social media, Carter Efe confirmed the allegations of a sexual encounter, prompting Phyna to declare that legal representatives would handle the matter.
In a recent Instagram Live session, Phyna addressed her fans to apologize for the public nature of the conflict. She expressed regret for the perceived loss of self-respect caused by these public altercations. Emphasizing that she does not tolerate accusations regarding her sexual conduct, she announced that she is shifting her strategy toward legal recourse to handle such defamation. She confirmed that both Davrel and Carter Efe have been officially served with legal documents. Carter Efe subsequently acknowledged the development, confirming receipt of a lawsuit seeking N500 million in damages.
