Peter Okoye Claims Brother Jude Threatened Him During US Property Disagreement

Singer Peter Okoye alleges his brother Jude threatened him during a 2015 dispute over the sale of a shared property in the United States.

Singer Peter Okoye, widely known as Mr P, has leveled new accusations against his sibling and ex-manager, Jude Okoye. He alleges that Jude threatened him during a conflict concerning a property formerly belonging to the group P-Square in the United States.

These claims were shared during the fifth installment of an ongoing video series where the artist discusses the factors behind the group’s dissolution. Mr P stated the confrontation took place in early 2015, noting that it became clear to him later after receiving information from the EFCC.

The dispute allegedly erupted after the brothers had reached an agreement to divide their assets, which included a duplex abroad. Mr P discovered that his portion of the property had been listed for sale without his permission. When he questioned Jude about this at a musical function, the interaction reportedly became violent. Mr P asserts that Jude threatened to slap and assault him, forcing other artists to intervene.

Furthermore, the singer refuted the narrative that Jude provided financial backing for P-Square, crediting their older brother Henry for supporting the group in its formative stages. Mr P also claims he found legal paperwork intended to transfer his rights to the US property to Jude’s wife, Ifeoma Omokeke, a change he refused to authorize. He maintains that Jude attempted to leverage his supposed control over company assets to threaten his position in the business.
