Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, who leads the All Progressives Congress National Campaign Council for the Osun governorship election, has ordered all subcommittees to provide their finalized plans and suggestions by Thursday. The governor issued this instruction during a Monday assembly held at the Kano State Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja.
Addressing the council members, Uzodimma emphasized that the meeting was strictly professional rather than a social event. He stressed that the primary objective is to assist their counterparts in Osun to secure victory in the August 15 election. He urged subcommittee leaders to organize internal meetings immediately to draft actionable strategies for the campaign, which must then be forwarded to the national secretary.
The governor reiterated that the central goal of the council remains winning the election, noting that all other considerations are secondary. Furthermore, Uzodimma confirmed that the finance subcommittee has been tasked with managing donations from both party members and external supporters to fund the electoral efforts.
