Remo Stars have officially named Olumide Ajibolade as their new head coach, according to reports from DAILY POST. Ajibolade moves to the position after previously managing Beyond Limits, a team competing in the Nigeria National League (NNL).
He fills the vacancy left by Usman Abdallah, who recently departed to join Ranchers Bees, a club in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). Ajibolade, who started his coaching path in 2019 at the Remo Stars Academy, previously served as the U-17 head coach for the organization.
During his tenure, he transformed Beyond Limits into a highly successful developmental program. He guided the side to promotion from the Nationwide League One to the NNL in 2023, followed by a landmark promotion to the NPFL in the 2024 season. The club stated that this appointment underscores their focus on internal growth and promoting talent from within their existing structure.
