Oba Femi Secures First Hell in a Cell Win Over Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam

Oba Femi secured a historic victory against Brock Lesnar inside the Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam, marking a significant milestone in the Nigerian wrestler’s rapid WWE rise.

Nigerian wrestling star Oba Femi claimed his inaugural Hell in a Cell victory by overcoming Brock Lesnar during the 2026 SummerSlam event. The match occurred on Saturday at the U.S. Bank Stadium located in Minneapolis.

Following the conclusion of the bout, Lesnar shared a moment of sportsmanship by publicly naming Oba Femi as the successor to lead the future of WWE, while positioning himself as a figure of the past. Oba Femi expressed surprise at the gesture, noting the unexpected public display of support. He emphasized that a mutual respect exists between the two competitors.

This performance adds to an already successful opening year for the Lagos native. Oba Femi previously defeated Lesnar at WrestleMania in April and secured the King of the Ring title this past June. Notably, this defeat marked the first instance of Brock Lesnar losing a Hell in a Cell encounter.
