Nyesom Wike Begins Vacation Following Month-Long Project Sprint

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has taken a vacation following a continuous 30-day period of launching, inspecting, and commissioning infrastructure projects across the territory.

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has officially started a holiday period. This break comes immediately after he spent over a month dedicating his time to opening finished projects, starting new initiatives, and checking on the progress of various construction sites throughout the FCT.

The announcement was shared on Monday by Lere Olayinka, the minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, via his X account. Olayinka noted that during his final days before the break, Wike conducted a thorough review of infrastructure developments, specifically focusing on projects that are set to be unveiled during the upcoming December and January periods.

President Bola Tinubu appointed Wike, a former governor of Rivers State, to his current ministerial role in August 2023.
