In a recent military assessment shared with the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday, official records confirmed successful operations throughout the North-East and North-Central regions. During an air interdiction mission identified as GUARDIAN, military aircraft located nine terrorists riding three motorcycles near Mai Hisari Arege in the Abadam region of Borno. A targeted strike resulted in the destruction of the transport and the deaths of all nine individuals.
Simultaneously, forces assigned to Operation SAFE HAVEN apprehended six people in Jos South, Plateau state. These individuals, suspected of kidnapping and providing supplies to terrorist groups, were detained while undergoing medical care for injuries sustained from gunfire and bladed weapons. They remain under military guard for processing.
Security efforts also led to the arrest of a Fulani youth leader in the Kauru district of Kaduna due to his suspected involvement in an assault on the Naridon settlement. In Benue state, military personnel engaged suspected militants in Ukum, resulting in one casualty and the recovery of a makeshift firearm and a motorcycle. Furthermore, forces in Guma intervened during an attack on local herders, capturing an assailant accused of injuring a victim and subsequently transporting the wounded person to a medical facility for care.
