The Nigeria Flamingos are scheduled to leave Lagos for Lomé, Togo, this Thursday to face the Benin Republic in the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers. Players and coaching staff will gather in Lagos from Ikenne before departing via the Murtala Mohammed International Airport.
This decisive return leg is set for Saturday at the Stade de Kegue. Nigeria holds a 3-2 advantage from the first match, which took place last weekend at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne. The aggregate winner will earn a spot in the 2026 tournament hosted by Morocco.
The Flamingos are working toward their ninth World Cup appearance, while their opponents, known as the Young Amazons, are striving to qualify for the event for the first time.
