Morgan Rogers Signs New Long-Term Deal With Aston Villa Until 2031
Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers has pledged his future to the club, signing a new long-term contract that will keep him at Villa Park until June 2031.
The new deal, which includes an improved salary package, underscores Villa’s belief in the 22-year-old’s potential and growing influence within Unai Emery’s side.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the development on Monday via his X handle, writing: “Morgan Rogers signs new deal at Aston Villa, valid until June 2031. Improved salary for the English winger who accepted new terms.”
Rogers, who joined Villa from Middlesbrough earlier this year, has impressed fans and management alike with his consistent performances and attacking flair this season.
Expressing his delight, Rogers said:
“This is a great step for me, and I’m delighted to commit my future to a club that has shown so much faith in me.”
Manager Unai Emery also praised the youngster’s progress, describing the extension as a statement of intent from the club to continue building around emerging English talents.
The deal is seen as part of Aston Villa’s wider strategy to secure the future of its brightest prospects amid growing attention from rival Premier League sides.
