Nigerian artist Mayorkun is collaborating once more with Afrobeats icon Davido for a fresh single titled ‘B4 B4,’ scheduled for release on July 31. Mayorkun confirmed the project via his official Instagram account on Wednesday, posting a promotional image of the pair alongside the caption, ‘New Music! This Friday! B4 B4 #Oriade.’
This track will be featured on Davido’s upcoming album, titled ‘Oriadé.’ The news quickly sparked enthusiasm among social media users, industry professionals, and fellow entertainers. Davido acknowledged the announcement by commenting, ‘WE BACK.’ Other notable figures, including content creator Officer Woos, producer Tolazfab, and entertainer Lanreysgram, also shared their excitement for the release, joined by a flood of eager fans in the comments section.
This reunion is particularly significant as it represents the first major musical project between the two since Mayorkun departed Davido’s DMW label in 2021 to pursue an independent path.
