May D, who was once affiliated with the Square Records label, has indicated he will speak out regarding his past experiences with the Okoye family. This comes as the long-standing conflict between twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye intensifies.
The duo, who rose to fame as P-Square, originally founded the label in 2005 alongside their brother, Jude Okoye. After an initial breakup in 2017 due to management and financial disagreements, the brothers briefly reunited in 2021. However, they separated again in 2024 following fresh legal battles and accusations from Peter concerning misappropriated royalties involving Jude.
Public tension escalated as the brothers traded sharp comments online. Peter alleged that Paul and Jude conspired against him, triggering a wave of support from fans and fellow artists. Amid this public discourse, May D used his Instagram story to announce that he intends to share his own account of his time working with the family. He hinted at a forthcoming series, titled Mr May D Part 1, scheduled to be released soon.
May D joined Square Records in 2011, though his tenure ended abruptly in 2012 when the label announced his departure citing irreconcilable differences.
