According to reports, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and his wife Cristina Serra have separated after being together for 30 years.
The couple, who met in 1994, have reportedly been living apart for more than five years, with Serra returning to Barcelona with their daughter Valentina, 17, while Guardiola remained in Manchester.
Pep Guardiola, 53, and Cristina Serra, a Brazilian journalist and writer, married in a private ceremony near Barcelona in 2014.
However, after years of living apart, the couple has now decided to part ways. They have three children together: Maria, 24, Marius, 22, and Valentina, 17, who currently lives with Serra in Barcelona.
Despite living in different cities, Guardiola and Serra were often photographed together in the years following their separation.
Pep Guardiola and Cristina Serra decided to end their marriage in December, with only a small group of close friends and family being aware of the split.
Those who know about the separation have been asked to keep the details private. Despite their decision to part ways, their relationship reportedly remains “totally cordial, stable, and friendly.”
