The Enugu State Police Command has arrested 48-year-old native doctor Enuwa Odugu and 67-year-old Uwakwe Eze for the alleged conspiracy and murder of Uwakwe’s 26-year-old son, Chikwado Celestine Eze. Reports indicate that Chikwado, who had recently obtained a visa to travel abroad, was taken to the native doctor’s shrine for rituals intended to fortify him with charms. However, during the ritual, Chikwado was reportedly placed in a coffin and died in the process. He was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, and his body was subsequently deposited in the mortuary for preservation and autopsy.
