Love Island UK Announces Champions of Unpredictable Season

Julia Majchrzak and Lorenzo Alessi have emerged as the victors of the 2026 Love Island UK final, capping off a season defined by unprecedented twists and a condensed three-couple finale.

In a historic first for the UK version of the dating program, the final round featured only three couples. Viewers witnessed Julia Majchrzak and Lorenzo Alessi claim victory and the £50,000 cash prize. They surpassed runners-up Jasmine Muller and Kavan Murphy, as well as third-place finishers Angelista Gunda and Simba Kudyiwa. A stunned Julia expressed her gratitude to the public, noting her surprise at reaching the finale after entering during the Casa Amor stage. Lorenzo, a business owner, stated his hope that Julia would move in with him following the show, describing their connection as a perfect match.

The season concluded after a series of intense events, including surprise voting rounds where former contestants determined which pairs were eliminated. Mica Harris and Samraj Toor were voted off, subsequently choosing to remove another couple, which led to the departure of Yasmin Hadlow and Tommy Stagg before the final. Throughout the eight-week series, which saw 32 participants, the show featured numerous plot shifts, including a controversy involving contestant Priya Jaswal. Priya faced backlash for making a disparaging remark about the profession of a fellow former islander, Elicia Bailey, which drew a response from the RMT Union. Priya later issued a public apology, clarifying that her comments were not intended to shame the profession.
