Liverpool turns down Inter Milan’s 21.7 million pound bid for Curtis Jones

Liverpool have declined a 21.7 million pound offer from Inter Milan for midfielder Curtis Jones, maintaining that the bid does not meet their 35 million pound valuation.

Liverpool has dismissed a 25 million euro (21.7 million pound) approach from Inter Milan regarding midfielder Curtis Jones. The bid sits significantly below the 35 million pound valuation set by the Premier League side, who are not prepared to let the player leave for a reduced fee.

This marks the second time this year that the Italian club has pursued the 25-year-old, having previously seen a loan-to-transfer proposal rejected in January. Inter’s sporting director, Piero Ausilio, confirmed their ongoing interest earlier this month, noting they are monitoring the midfielder’s situation closely.

Speculation regarding a move has intensified recently, with Federico Chiesa mentioning to the media that Jones had inquired about life in Italy. A product of the Liverpool academy since age nine, Jones is currently tied to the club until 2027.
