While PSG reportedly values the winger at approximately £145m—a sum that would establish a new British transfer record—Liverpool hopes to negotiate a fee nearer to £100m. Although Barcola remains under contract for another two years, he is reportedly interested in pursuing a fresh start with Liverpool due to limited playing time in Paris. This pursuit follows the club’s unsuccessful attempt to recruit Yan Diomande, who is expected to sign with Real Madrid instead.
