The Leeds Rhinos secured a narrow 24-22 victory over Wakefield Trinity in a high-stakes match, extending their lead at the top of the Super League table to four points. The sold-out DIY Kitchens Stadium hosted a contest that lived up to the intensity of a Grand Final.

Although Leeds trailed for the vast majority of the game, they maintained their composure during the final minutes. A late comeback was sparked by the tactical kicking of Jake Connor. With three minutes remaining, Connor delivered a precise grubber kick that Chris Hankinson grounded to tie the game at 22-22. Connor subsequently converted the difficult kick to clinch the win.

The scoring for Wakefield included tries from Vagana, Hamlin-Uele, Myers, and Sinfield, with Sinfield contributing three goals. Leeds responded with tries from Croft, McDonnell, Smith, and Hankinson, supported by four goals from Connor.
