Infinix has officially tapped Nigerian music star Qing Madi to headline the launch campaign for its new HOT 70 Pro smartphone. The partnership highlights a shared commitment to fostering creativity and bold self-expression among the youth. Over the last two years, Qing Madi has established herself as a standout voice in the African music scene, gaining international acclaim for her unique sound and authentic personality. These traits align with the philosophy behind the HOT 70 Pro, a device built for students, creators, and digital trendsetters.
The HOT 70 Pro features the innovative Active Matrix Cube, integrated into its unique camera housing. This display allows users to personalize pixel art and notifications, making the phone a direct extension of the owner’s style. The device also boasts a 144Hz screen, a 50MP Sony IMX882 camera, and an IP68-rated design for water and dust resistance, all powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chipset.
Oluwayemisi Ode, PR Manager for Infinix Nigeria, noted that Qing Madi captures the essence of the HOT series, describing her as both talented and fearless. For her part, the artist shared that she values the device’s focus on individuality and creative freedom.
The collaboration will kick off on July 10 at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) with the “Be Seen Be Hot” Campus Storm. The event is set to host students from UNILAG, Yaba College of Technology, and the Federal College of Education. Attendees will participate in interactive games, giveaways, and a headline performance by Qing Madi. This event serves as the official start of the HOT 70 Pro campaign, aiming to bridge the gap between technology, music, and youth culture.
