Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani asserts that President Bola Tinubu has initiated more developmental projects in Northern Nigeria than any of his predecessors from the region. Speaking with ARISE NEWS, Sani expressed his belief that this performance will translate into a higher vote count for the president in the 2027 election.
Sani backed his claims with data, citing advancements in agriculture, infrastructure, and security. He noted that over 500,000 hectares of farmland, once deemed insecure, are now accessible for cultivation. Highlighting the security progress in his own state, the governor stated that regions like Birnin Gwari are now reachable without police escorts, a feat previously considered difficult.
The governor predicted that northern voters will prioritize tangible governance over religious or ethnic factors in the next election cycle. Furthermore, Sani strongly endorsed the creation of state police as a necessary measure to permanently curb insecurity, expressing confidence that President Tinubu would make history by implementing such reforms.
