Governor Sani Calls on NYSC Members to Drive Regional Development

Governor Uba Sani has encouraged NYSC members in Kaduna to foster community development, while state coordinator Efeke Dadaza urged for better camp facilities.

During the conclusion of the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I orientation in Kaduna, Governor Uba Sani challenged National Youth Service Corps members to become active drivers of change within their local communities. He noted that the recent three-week program provided participants with the necessary resilience and discipline to serve effectively across various sectors, including education and healthcare.

Governor Sani pledged his administration’s full support for the corps, promising to ensure their safety and welfare in partnership with security services. He also reached out to local employers, asking them to offer substantial mentorship and duties to the youth, which he deemed essential for the growth of Kaduna State.

Furthermore, the Governor praised the corps members for engaging with the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development program, advising them to finalize their follow-up training. Kaduna State NYSC Coordinator, Efeke Dadaza, noted that the participants are now ready for their duties. She took the opportunity to advocate for better infrastructure, specifically requesting the construction of a permanent orientation camp and the renovation of current facilities.
