Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke remains upbeat about the August 15 governorship election, declaring his readiness and belief in a successful outcome. Following a discussion with civil servants at the OHIS Hall in Osogbo, Adeleke called on the public to cast their ballots calmly and without apprehension.
The governor noted that he feels no pressure due to divine support and the backing of the Osun electorate. He emphasized that participation in the democratic process is a vital civic responsibility for all eligible voters.
Labor leaders voiced their backing for the incumbent governor. Dr. Christopher Arapasopo, the Osun State NLC Chairman, praised the administration for its focus on the needs of employees and retirees. He encouraged workers to exercise their voting rights peacefully. Supporting this stance, TUC Chairman Adediran Olalekan affirmed that the state workforce values the current government’s welfare initiatives and intends to maintain their support.
