Four Men Detained in Bauchi for Alleged Wife-Swapping Pact
Authorities in Bauchi State have taken four men into custody in Azare, Katagum Local Government Area. The suspects face accusations of criminal conspiracy, adultery, and inciting public disturbance.
Security analyst Zagazola Makama reported that Hisbah Zonal Commander Mallam Rilwan Khairan transferred the men to the Azare Division.
The individuals identified are Bashir Adamu, Auwalu Mohammed, Mohammed Mohammed, and Salisu Mohammed.
Police sources claim the group organized an agreement to swap their wives for sexual relations.
Officials intervened after receiving intelligence, noting that such behavior risks threatening community peace.
Law enforcement officials stated that the investigation is ongoing. They intend to pursue legal measures once the inquiry concludes.
