Family of Slain University of Jos Graduate Calls for Legal Action Against Suspects

The sister of late University of Jos graduate Ibrahim Pilasar Mbaya is demanding justice, calling for the suspects involved in his alleged mob killing to face severe legal consequences.

Pilasar Zara is calling for rigorous legal action against the individuals accused of murdering her brother, Ibrahim Pilasar Mbaya, a recent University of Jos graduate. As public anger intensifies regarding the circumstances of his death, Zara labeled the suspects as ruthless and insisted they must be held fully accountable for their actions.

The family is struggling to process the loss of Mbaya, who was awaiting his call-up for the National Youth Service Corps. Zara emphasized that her brother was a gentle and industrious individual who held no history of criminality. She noted that he was respected by many and argued that the perpetrators were likely driven by malice and envy.
