Emmanuel King, the technical adviser for El-Kanemi Warriors, remains upbeat regarding the team’s prospects in the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup. The squad, often called the Borno Army, is set to open their campaign in the first preliminary round against União Desportiva Internacional from Guinea-Bissau.
Should they advance past this stage, they are slated to compete against the formidable Moroccan club, Raja Casablanca, in the second round. King emphasized that diligence, commitment, and backing from their supporters are vital for the team to achieve a stronger showing in the continental tournament.
Addressing the club’s media, King stated that he expects a deep tournament run provided the squad maintains its focus and receives fan support. Furthermore, he expressed firm conviction that the team will reclaim their place in the Nigeria Premier Football League next season, declaring that their goal of promotion remains firmly on track.
