Content creator Ademola Abiodun, widely recognized as DJ Chicken, sparked public discussion after labeling President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu, as ‘daddy’ upon his exit from jail. The entertainer, who was discharged from Kirikiri Correctional Centre on July 21, 2026, posted an image of Seyi on his Instagram Stories accompanied by the caption: “Hmm ddddy.” Additionally, he updated his profile picture to feature Seyi.
The influencer served nearly two weeks behind bars before his release. In a video featuring his legal counsel, he expressed relief, stating, “I’m back oo, freedom at last.” He offered thanks to the Nigerian government, President Tinubu, and Seyi, while noting that freedom is a privilege. DJ Chicken had been arraigned on charges related to the Cybercrimes Act, public disturbance, and making threats against Seyi Tinubu.
These legal troubles originated from a video in which he suggested the President would fail to secure re-election in 2027 and allegedly threatened his son. Although he eventually retracted his comments, claiming they were merely for online engagement, he was nonetheless arrested and prosecuted.
