Social media influencer VeryDarkMan has committed to a peaceful resolution of his legal conflict with cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, known as Blord.
This shift comes after efforts by activist Omoyele Sowore to mediate the situation.
The dispute previously resulted in Blord spending 26 days in Kuje prison starting April 1, 2026. Sowore had publicly criticized VeryDarkMan and his attorney, Marshall Abubakar, for their role in the incarceration, promising to assist in securing Blord’s freedom.
Following his release on bail, Marshall Abubakar, who represents both Sowore and VeryDarkMan, confirmed that the parties have chosen to move past their hostilities.
Abubakar praised Sowore for his mediation and noted that VeryDarkMan has agreed to resolve the conflict out of court. He emphasized that both men are influential youth leaders and that it is in their best interest to cooperate rather than pursue criminal litigation.
Abubakar expressed that while VeryDarkMan had legitimate grievances, both sides are now focused on reaching a formal agreement before the next court date to put the matter behind them.
