Beşiktaş dismiss reports of Saudi offer for Wilfred Ndidi

Beşiktaş sporting director Önder Özent states that no official bid has been received from Saudi Arabian clubs for Wilfred Ndidi despite ongoing transfer rumors.

Önder Özent, the sporting director at Beşiktaş, has clarified that no formal bids have been made for Wilfred Ndidi, the captain of the Super Eagles. Recent reports from the outlet Milliyet suggested that Al-Ittihad, a club in the Saudi Pro League, had attempted to sign the defensive midfielder.

While acknowledging that there is genuine interest from Saudi Arabian teams regarding the Nigerian player, Özent confirmed during a Tuesday press briefing that no written proposal has reached the club. He noted that the organization remains open to reviewing any official offer if and when one is submitted.

Ndidi moved to the Black Eagles from Leicester City during the previous summer transfer window. Throughout the last campaign, he made 31 appearances across various competitions and contributed two goals for the former Turkish Super Lig winners.
