MultiChoice Nigeria has confirmed that the 11th installment of the Big Brother Naija reality series will officially start on July 26, 2026. During a media event held this Wednesday, officials disclosed that the eventual winner will take home a grand prize of N160 million, marking the highest payout in the history of the franchise since its 2006 inception.
The road to this season kicked off with in-person casting calls held between May 22 and May 24, 2026. Candidates were selected from Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu to participate in these auditions. To qualify, entrants had to be at least 21 years old and provide official documentation for identification. There was no cost associated with the audition process.
This new season follows the conclusion of the previous cycle, which wrapped up on October 5, 2025. Opeyemi Ayanwale, known to fans as Imisi, secured victory in that edition. Imisi outperformed 28 other housemates to win a total package valued at N150 million, which included N80 million in cash alongside an SUV.
