Bandits Kill Commander of Zamfara Community Protection Guards
Bandits have killed Aliyu Isah Zurmi, the commander of the Zurmi unit of Zamfara State’s Community Protection Guards.
Reports indicate that Aliyu and two soldiers died in a gun battle with the bandits.
A funeral for the fallen commander was held on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
Aliyu Isah Zurmi was remembered for his brave efforts in fighting terrorists, risking his life for the safety and well-being of his community and the nation.
