Arsenal have officially signed Brentford captain Christian Norgaard in a deal worth £12 million, becoming Mikel Arteta’s third signing of the summer.

Manager Mikel Arteta praised Norgaard’s leadership, tactical awareness, and versatility:

Norgaard follows the £60m signing of Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad and goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea (£5m) in what is shaping up to be a sharp rebuild at the Emirates.
