Ange Postecoglou has officially joined the Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr as their new head coach. The 60-year-old Australian, who was born in Greece, secured a two-year deal with the Riyadh-based club. Al-Nassr recently captured their first Saudi Pro League trophy and features star forward Cristiano Ronaldo as captain. Postecoglou takes over from previous manager Jorge Jesus, who departed the team at the conclusion of the last season.
Postecoglou most recently spent a brief 39-day period as manager of Nottingham Forest before his dismissal last October. His resume includes a triumphant 2025 Europa League campaign with Tottenham, where he served as manager from June 2023 to June 2025. Before his time in England, he experienced significant success in Scotland, leading Celtic to consecutive Scottish Premiership titles. During the current World Cup, he has been active as an ITV television analyst.
