Professor Jerome Nyameh, the Taraba State gubernatorial candidate for the Accord Party, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for authorizing the formation of the 10th Division of the Nigerian Army, which will be based in Jalingo.
During a Sunday press statement, Nyameh characterized this development as a vital improvement to the national security framework. He noted that by operating throughout Taraba and Adamawa states, the division will allow the military to react more effectively to local threats.
The candidate suggested that this strategic move will bolster regional stability and help mitigate specific security difficulties faced by North-Eastern residents. He asserted that the President’s actions show a dedication to protecting citizens and encouraging long-term peace in the region. Nyameh remains hopeful that the new military unit will be instrumental in increasing safety and promoting broader regional development.
