Buba Galadima, a prominent figure in the Nigeria Democratic Congress, has called for a national effort to remove President Bola Tinubu from power in the 2027 elections. During the launch of the NDC National Reconciliation Committee, Galadima accused the president of creating an uneven playing field for opposition parties.
According to Galadima, the current Electoral Act was authored by Tinubu himself prior to its introduction in the National Assembly. He argued that these legislative maneuvers are intended to secure the president’s position by hindering other parties from fielding viable candidates.
Galadima insisted that the administration is focused on self-preservation rather than a fair political race. He urged citizens to unify against the current leadership, stating that the nation must act collectively to ensure a change in government.
