Adamu Fakai, APC Leader in Kebbi, Renounces Support for President Tinubu Ahead of 2027

Adamu Fakai, an APC chieftain in Kebbi State, has withdrawn his support for President Bola Tinubu, alleging that his extensive efforts to promote government projects were ignored by party leadership.

Adamu Yahaya, an APC figure from Kebbi State frequently referred to as Adam Fakai, has officially declared he will no longer back President Bola Tinubu for the 2027 elections. He expressed frustration over what he views as a blatant lack of recognition from party leadership.

Fakai stated he is ceasing all promotional work for the current administration. For over two years, he dedicated his time, personal funds, and energy to broadcasting government initiatives and policies throughout Nigeria. He claims his commitment stemmed from a genuine belief in Tinubu’s development agenda, yet he received no acknowledgment or assistance from state or federal party officials.

The politician further alleged that influential figures utilized his recorded footage and photographs of federal infrastructure projects without giving him credit. Fakai suggested that his treatment might have differed had he originated from a different state. While he is ending his support, he publicly thanked those who encouraged his efforts. Fakai previously gained prominence on social media for his comprehensive reports and visual documentation of various government projects nationwide.
