Analyst Paschal Oluchukwu Criticizes Infrastructure Standards in Ebonyi State

Analyst Paschal Oluchukwu claims Governor Francis Nwifuru’s administration has failed to deliver quality infrastructure projects despite receiving significant funding.

Public affairs commentator Paschal Oluchukwu has characterized the current state of infrastructure in Ebonyi as a significant failure under Governor Francis Nwifuru. His remarks follow a recent incident where Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi, Deputy Chief Whip of the Senate, expressed public concern regarding substandard bridge construction between Odomoke and Ekelibe.

Oluchukwu noted that he has previously questioned the quality of ongoing work overseen by Nwifuru, whose political branding centers on being a builder. He argued that the administration has become a laughingstock regarding its construction efforts. Furthermore, Oluchukwu pointed to alleged financial mismanagement, noting that despite substantial monthly allocations from the Federation Account Allocation Committee, the governor has not successfully completed or commissioned a single major project during his three-year tenure.
