Anthony Adeniyi Adeosun, the husband of Nigeria’s former Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, has passed away. He was 62 years old.
A family statement signed by C. A. Adeosun confirmed that he died on Wednesday in Lagos. The deceased leaves behind his wife, children, and several siblings, among them Kuramo Capital founder Adewale Adeosun.
The family expressed their grief by referencing biblical scripture while emphasizing the comfort found in their faith. They have asked for privacy as they cope with this loss and noted that information regarding Christian funeral services will be shared at a later time. They also extended appreciation to everyone offering prayers and sympathy.
Kemi Adeosun held the position of Finance Minister during the administration of the late President Muhammadu Buhari, serving between 2015 and 2018.
