According to prominent Turkish journalist Mehmet Özcan, top European football clubs are wary of paying a triple-digit transfer fee for Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen. The primary concern stems from the Nigerian international’s failure to play at least 50 matches during the previous season, raising doubts about his availability.
Galatasaray recently turned down a 60 million euro bid from Tottenham Hotspur for the player. Despite this, Osimhen remains a frequent subject of transfer rumors, with clubs including Barcelona, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid, Manchester United, and Juventus all reportedly interested in his services.
Özcan explained to A Spor that the lack of consistent match participation is the main factor stopping major teams from committing to an investment exceeding 100 million euros. Currently, Galatasaray holds a valuation for the striker surpassing 120 million euros, following his move from Napoli.
