Canada has highlighted eight businesses involved in its Global Hypergrowth Project, allowing these firms to sponsor international employees for work permits that do not require a Labour Market Impact Assessment. This initiative, known as the Innovation Stream, aims to assist high-growth Canadian companies in securing specialized foreign talent. The program has been officially extended through March 22, 2028.
The participating companies include Ada Support, a Toronto-based AI firm; AlayaCare, a Montreal health technology provider; and Vancouver-based Clarius Mobile Health, which specializes in wireless ultrasound devices. Additionally, the legal technology firm Clio, Montreal’s Lightspeed Commerce, and the life sciences company CellCarta are part of the initiative. The list is rounded out by the agricultural technology business Vive Crop Protection in Mississauga and the Quebec-based pharmaceutical manufacturer Duchesnay Pharmaceutical Group.
While some of these organizations, such as Ada Support, AlayaCare, Clio, and Lightspeed Commerce, have active job listings for roles ranging from software engineering to sales management, others currently show limited or no openings for standard positions in Canada.
