Minister of Works David Umahi recently provided details regarding the death of Mary Habila, a staff member who passed away at his home in Uburu, Ebonyi State. Speaking in Abuja, the Minister explained that Habila had been in contact with her boyfriend shortly before she died.
According to Umahi, Habila told her partner that she was experiencing a nosebleed. While the boyfriend urged her to seek help, she insisted the bleeding had ceased. The boyfriend attempted to end the call, stating that further conversation might worsen her condition, but Habila begged him not to hang up. After he eventually disconnected, he attempted to reach her again three minutes later but received no response.
The Minister also noted that Habila had mentioned her intention to bathe before their communication permanently halted.
