Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo Urges Self-Defence Amid Claims of Islamic Agenda Against President Tinubu

Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo has challenged President Tinubu over an alleged Islamic agenda, calling on Christians to prepare for self-defence and warning of potential unrest in Plateau State.

Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, the Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations in Barkin Ladi, Plateau State, has publicly accused President Bola Tinubu of promoting an Islamic agenda throughout Nigeria. The clergyman claims the administration’s Muslim-Muslim ticket is a calculated attempt to marginalize and destroy the nation’s Christian population.

In a recent video statement, Dachomo called upon Nigerians to embrace self-defence, insisting that Christianity will not be eradicated. He addressed the President directly, demanding an end to these alleged policies and warning that if the country faces turmoil, citizens are prepared to protect themselves. He further noted his willingness to face arrest, arguing that life under state custody is preferable to the daily suffering and grief currently experienced by his community.

Dachomo reported that local Fulani militias have issued direct threats against members of his congregation. He cautioned that any violence against his people would trigger a widespread uprising in Plateau State and potentially across the South-South region. Emphasizing that Christian patience should not be mistaken for cowardice, he warned that any attempts to harm his followers would be met with significant resistance.
