Kano Pillars Football Club has officially hired Daniel Ogunmodede, widely known as Ijaball, to serve as its Technical Adviser. This leadership change comes as the team prepares for the 2026/2027 Nigeria Premier Football League campaign.
Isma’eel Tangalashi, the club’s Media Director, announced the decision on Friday in Kano. The move is a significant component of a broader restructuring strategy designed to bolster the coaching staff and elevate the squad’s performance across local and international tournaments.
The club believes this appointment will help restore its status as a top contender within the league. Ogunmodede, who previously led Remo Stars, takes over the position from Muhammad Babaganaru. Kano Pillars enters this new era after concluding the previous season in 15th place, having secured 48 points through 38 fixtures.
