Tinubu Vows Continued Development, Calls for National Collaboration

President Bola Tinubu, represented by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, commissioned the Old Keffi Road, calling on Nigerians to support his administration’s ongoing development initiatives.

President Bola Tinubu has pledged that his government remains fully committed to the advancement of the Federal Capital Territory and the entire nation. Represented by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during the commissioning of the Old Keffi Road, which spans from Kado Fish Market to Deidei, the President encouraged citizens to partner with his administration to ensure widespread progress.

The newly opened road functions as a vital economic route, connecting communities like Kado, Saburi, Gwagwa, Idu, Karmo, and Deidei to the outer Northern expressway. By reducing travel duration and logistics expenses, the project is expected to boost commercial activity and alleviate daily burdens for local workers and commuters.

During the event, President Tinubu praised FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for the ‘Light Up Abuja’ initiative, noting that improved nighttime lighting enhances both safety and local commerce. He urged residents and community leaders to protect the infrastructure from vandalism and neglect, emphasizing that the longevity of such projects depends on community care.

Reaffirming his agenda, the President stated that his administration aims to foster inclusion and safety across all districts. He concluded by calling for unity to build a prosperous Nigeria, officially dedicating the rehabilitated road to the benefit of public mobility and economic growth.
