Wikki Tourists announce start of pre-season training for 2026-27 campaign

Wikki Tourists have confirmed a July 6 return date for pre-season training as they aim to bounce back to the top flight following their recent relegation to the NNL.

Wikki Tourists have scheduled their return to practice for Monday, July 6, 2026, marking the beginning of their preparations for the upcoming term. This update comes via an official statement released by the club’s secretary, Adamu Pali.

All squad members and coaching staff are expected to arrive at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi no later than 3:30 p.m. on the specified date. The management intends to implement a rigorous training regimen to assemble a formidable roster capable of performing at a high level.

Players have been instructed to prioritize punctuality and arrive ready for a detailed screening process. Following their relegation to the Nigeria National League last season, the club is prioritizing a swift recovery to earn a promotion back to the Nigeria Professional Football League.
