Omokri explained that his situation is unique because the role requires him to handle diplomatic procedures and secure approvals from four distinct foreign governments. He noted that these multi-nation requirements make his confirmation process more complex than those of his peers.
The former presidential aide made these remarks after a social media user compared his timeline to that of another appointee, Professor Yakubu. In response, Omokri rejected the notion of professional competition, emphasizing that he does not measure his own career milestones against the progress of others.
