All Progressives Congress chieftain in Ekiti State, Senator Ayo Arise, has issued a formal congratulatory message to Governor Biodun Oyebanji regarding his success in the June 20, 2026, gubernatorial election.
Speaking to journalists in Ado Ekiti, Arise characterized the win as clear evidence of the governor’s dedication to regional progress. He lauded the local electorate for their high turnout in supporting Governor Oyebanji and Deputy Governor Monisola Afuye, noting that this mandate will drive further infrastructure growth and state development.
Arise expressed confidence that the governor’s second term will foster significant improvements in critical sectors such as healthcare, education, road networks, and agriculture. Meanwhile, Arise, who intends to run for the Ekiti North Senatorial District seat in 2027, called on members of the APC to maintain harmony and ensure equitable treatment across party ranks as they look toward the upcoming general elections.
