Former Bauchi Deputy Governor Audu Sule Katagum Passes Away at 69

Audu Sule Katagum, the former Deputy Governor of Bauchi State, has died at the age of 69, according to an announcement by a former gubernatorial aide.

Audu Sule Katagum, who previously served as the Deputy Governor of Bauchi State, has passed away at 69 years old. Lukman Abubakar, an aide to former governor M. A. Abubakar, confirmed the news in an official statement.

According to the announcement, Katagum died during the early hours of Saturday. Described as the Wazirin Katagum, he was recognized for his commitment to public service both within Bauchi State and across Nigeria. The family has not yet released specific details regarding burial proceedings, which are expected to be shared at a later time.

Mourners have offered prayers for the departed, asking for divine mercy and strength for his surviving family members. The former official is survived by his wife, children, and extended relatives.
