Manchester United are actively looking to strengthen their front line for the upcoming campaign and have identified Victor Osimhen as a prime candidate. The Super Eagles attacker is among a shortlist of five strikers being evaluated to challenge Benjamin Šeško for a starting spot.
Although Šeško joined the club with high hopes last year and has shown progress recently under manager Michael Carrick, United remains committed to adding an experienced goalscorer. According to CaughtOffside, Osimhen has emerged as a top target following a prolific season at Galatasaray, where he contributed 22 goals and eight assists.
Osimhen is highly regarded across Europe for his speed and strength, though securing a deal may prove challenging given the high cost and interest from other clubs. Aside from the Nigerian international, United is also tracking four other potential signings: Jean-Philippe Mateta of Crystal Palace, Juventus forward Dušan Vlahović, young Bournemouth talent Eli Junior Kroupi, and veteran striker Robert Lewandowski.
