My Generation Keeps Calling God’s Name For What Was Achieved In Sin – Singer Spyro
Singer Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, better known as Spyro, has once again expressed his dissatisfaction with his generation’s tendency to glorify questionable wealth. Referring to himself as “Jesus Boy,” the artist shared a video in which a clergyman criticized his colleagues for celebrating individuals, including politicians, who amass ill-gotten wealth.
Spyro has long been outspoken about societal issues, and his latest comments reflect his concern over the way wealth, especially when acquired through questionable means, is idolized and admired.
In the video, the cleric said,
‘’This Christianity that any politician that comes we give him a microphone on the pulpit, is not a standard in the bible. This thing that my generation celebrates that somebody is not a child of God but anything that happens to their life they would say it is God…we have come to the point that even when somebody’s life is wrong but because they have the things we call result, we are willing to appropriate their results to God and forgive their immoral lifestyle is the way of God.”
Reacting to this post, Spyro agreed with it and wrote
‘’Too profound, my generation steady calling God’s name on what was achieved in SIN..HMM”
